Providing students with the necessary facilities has been a prime intention
of the management of BIS. The management has taken necessary measures to provide and maintain all necessary facilities which contribute towards the betterment of the students at BIS.
We have upgraded the education facilities of BIS by relocating the secondary school at 97/6, Rathnarama Road, Abeyrathne Mawatha, Boralesgamuwa. The incentive was taken by the management inorder to provide students with an even better educational experience.The new premises is comprised of state of the art classrooms, science laboratories and snack bar to name a few of the modern additions.

Spacious class rooms
BIS consists of spacious class rooms with apt ventilation systems. The classes are well equipped with comfortable desks and chairs, white boards, book racks and cupboards which fulfill both the student’s and teacher’s needs.
Each class consists of a number of 20 students and a teacher student ratio of 1:20, which ensures individual attention for the students that results in a fast and steady development of the students’ skills. |

Computer lab
Students have access to the well equipped, air conditioned computer lab which has brand new high speed computers with internet facilities. Students are allowed to use the computers and surf the internet under the guidance of the relevant computer teacher.

Library
The library at BIS consists of a large number of books which include both fictions and non fictions.
Since we believe that “Reading makes a man perfect” , students at BIS have been encouraged to read, by introducing a library period where the students are given the opportunity to use the comfortable library and read their favourites to their heart’s contentment.

Snack bar
The latest added facility – the snack bar, which was opened recently has now become a place of great attraction. During the break, after sports activities and after school, students could purchase drinks of their choice to quench their thirst.

| BIS intends to include many more facilities that would cater for the students’ rising demands in the future, just as it has done for the past decade. |
